The Engineering department carries out the following:
1.Survey and demarcation of Defence land inside cantonment
2.Maintenance of all boundary pillars
3.Maintenance of cantonment board assets (Office, staff quarters, Schools, Hospital, Cremation Ground, Community Hall, Lawn and Park etc)
4.Maintenance of roads drains footpath
5.Maintenance of PGL and Urinals
6.Tenders for public works
7.Tenders for original works
8.Processing of building plans
9.Detection of unauthorized constructions
10.Detection and removal of encroachments
11.Preparation of estimates for works /projects
12.Supervision of works
13.Technical assistance in legal matters
14.Technical assistance in land matters
15.Preparation of DPR development plan for cantonment
16.General technical correspondence to all departments
